Window Blind Software
Ball Software was established in 1997 with the objective of providing bespoke software solutions to companies in the UK and Ireland. The company has specialised in window blind software for window blind manufacturers and retailers, but has also written systems for car leasing, credit control and quotation management. In the past few years the company has built up a large and loyal customer base, including many well known names in the window blind industry. It's main product, Blindata, is the most complete software system available to the window blind manufacturer. Ball Software has specialist skills in Delphi, ASP.NET, Visual Basic, Microsoft Access and SQL Server products. The company employs only qualified software professionals. As well as being a Sage developer, the company is also a member of the BBSA.
In 2008 approximately 1.5 million blinds were made by companies using Ball Software’s window blind software Blindata. This represents a significant proportion of the UK and Irish blind market. Ball Software continues to develop this system to ensure that Blindata customers remain ahead of the rest of the competition. Recent developments have included the electronic transferring of orders between companies and improved facilities for online ordering.
For 1 December 2008 we produced a special routine that enabled all our customers to change the VAT rate for all existing non invoiced orders. This work was done to a tight timescale and was included within the existing software maintenance agreement and at no extra cost to our customers.
In addition to catering to the clients in the UK and Ireland, Ball Software sells window blind software to clients in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, Russia, and the USA.
